Capturing great Interior photos is more than just pointing a camera and shooting. For location shoots in private homes, retail showrooms, and public spaces, it requires time to style the shot in the best way to showcase the room—that may mean de-cluttering, rearranging furniture, or adding fresh flowers and other props. The next step is lighting. A planned balance of natural light and studio-style lighting takes time and is essential to create an image that truly highlights the space. If we are shooting in a showroom, we are often required to do extensive retouching such as adding ceilings, floors, walls, appliances, and window scenes in the post-production stages in order to create the illusion of an actual room.
